The Florida A&M Rattler Football team held their second scrimmage of the spring today, in a split practice that started on the practice field and ended with live plays inside of Bragg Memorial Stadium. The improvement in understanding and executing Coach Alex Wood's philosophy is becoming evident as players are beginning to separate themselves within the system. Of crucial importance is the ability of quarterback Carson Royal to understand what the Rattler offense is trying to accomplish.

he Rattler football team went through morning practice under the lights of Bragg Stadium. The spirited practice was marked with rainfall about 20 minutes into practice, but as it cleared, apparently the team's focus did as well. "We had better execution today for sure. For whatever reason the enthusiasm was good. I think the players are learning what to do and gaining more confidence, and I think that contributed to this morning," head coach Alex Wood said.
